U2 Win Record of the Year Grammy

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Irish rock band U2 won the prestigious record of the year Grammy on Wednesday for their hit song "Beautiful Day."
The award is given to the artist, along with the producers, recording engineers and mixers. In this case, U2 shared the Grammy with producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and engineers/mixers Steve Lillywhite and Richard Rainey.
The other songs competing for this category were Destiny's Child's "Say My Name," Macy Gray's "I Try," Madonna's "Music," and 'N Sync's "Bye Bye Bye."
